I wanted a plasma torch to play with, so I bought a $200 (a year ago price) Tooliom TL-50C Plasma Cutter.I am not trying to make $$$ with this,, just experimenting!!The machine cuts OK,, I have never tried to cut anything thicker than 1/4" steel.I think the main problem is the consumables are made REALLY inexpensively,, (CHEAP!!)I was watching drag racing of "gassers" on YouTube,, and there was a Ford Mustang,, with a "BOWTIE" logo in the middle of the grill.Obviously, the guy had put a Chevy engine in the Mustang,,That got me thinking,, I wonder if the AG-60 hand torch on the TL-50C machine could be changed to a different torch?Supposedly, the Italian made consumables last MUCH longer,, such as the TECMO consumables.BUT, I can not find TECMO consumables for the AG-60 torch.SO,, I was wondering if I could substitute a different torch onto the Tooliom TL-50C machine.A pilot start torch should be a pilot start torch,, right??I see a lot of these torches offered,, the question is which one should I try??It looks like Georges Plasma Cutter Shop sells a IPT60 handle, made in Italy, and he sells the TECMO consumables,,Hmmmmmm,, Am i barking up the wrong tree??
