Price will be under 500. Machine is complete but hasnt ran for 6 years.Thinking about getting it, getting it going keep it as back up or fix it up and sale it.Im undecided.
Reply:Gas or diesel? If its gas itll be a continental flat head. F162 probly and there deadly simple. Not sure if the millers came with a mag or distributor. The carb kits can be had anywhere classic tractor parts are available. Keep oil in them and they go forever. For that kind of money id buy it. Its a steal.
Reply:I didnt get it yet. I offerd 300 he said try again.This is my big40 yhis forumn recently helped me put back in service. Its a work horse for sure.

Reply:The newer big 40s don't run the flathead. I have a 90's model and it has a continental tm20 three cylinder gas engine. They also came with a tmd27 diesel option. Mine has over 8000 hrs and still humming alongLincolin Power Wave 450, Lincoln Powermig 255, Lincoln Pro Mig 140, Lincoln Squarewave Tig 275, Miller Big 40 G(with Hobart Hefty suitcase), Thermal Arc 95S and Esab PCM875 in an already full machine shop.
