Need tig welder advice

I am looking to purchase a tig welder pretty quick here.  Because of pricing, I am looking to go used.  Around here there usually isn't too much for options when it comes to used tig welders, but right now there is actually a few up for sale. I plan on doing a variety of metals from 16gauge stainless tubing to 3/16-1/4" aluminum plate and whatever else in betweenNow I need advice on which welder to get.  I will voice my concerns for each.  I appreciate any input you may have.Lincoln Squarewave 175 - I am not really even considering this welder anymore.  It is the cheapest of the bunch, and in great shape, but it will not be able to handle my aluminum needs and it is a bit of a driveLincoln Precision Tig 185 - This is also priced well, in great shape, but not able to handle the capacity of aluminum I want to do.  It is also a driveMiller Syncrowave 200 - Brandnew never used.  Price is good, it may be able to handle the aluminum, but still kind of pushing it.. This one is also a driveNow the one I am kind of leaning towards at the momentMiller Dialarc 250HF - Price on this one is good, it is pretty much new, it has the power to do the thicker stuff I want it to, completely setup for tig, and it is close.  It would also double as a stick welder when needed on the farm. My major concern with this unit is the power consumption I have heard they will draw near 100amp running all out.  If anyone has anymore information on this one, please share.  I am having a hard time finding much on this one.  I hadn't really heard of it or considered it at all until I saw the ad.Thanks
Reply:Im not a pro by any means, but I have a Lincon Precision Tig 225 and I love it. It will weld anything, I think. I only do normal stuff, stainless, aluminum and mild, for turbo setups, but it works great and is easy to use.Dave
Reply:If there was a Precision Tig 225 available right now I would definatly go for that. Or is I could find a syncrowave 250 that would also be awesome.  Thing is I am going used and those are about my only options right now.
Reply:No one in their right mind would consider a Dialarc over a new Syncrowave 200 for tig welding. The Dialarc is a great stick welder, that, with the proper accessories can do tig.  Unless it's the HF model or has a HF box, it's not much good for aluminum.  Pre squarewave design.  Would not be one of my choices for a TIG machine.  (I have an older Dialarc for stick and a Sync 250 for tig).Keep your eyes open for an older Syncrowave 250.  You're still looking at a 100A breaker if you plan to be running it to the max.Syncro 250 DX Dynasty 200 DXMM 251 w/30A SG XMT 304 w/714 Feeder & Optima PulserHH187Dialarc 250 AC/DCHypertherm PM 1250Smith, Harris, Victor O/ASmith and Thermco Gas MixersAccess to a full fab shop with CNC Plasma, Water Jet, etc.
Reply:Go for the Syncrowave 200.  I have one and only have good things to say.  I have been running it (and all the lights in the garage) on a 50amp breaker.  I have only tripped it once and that was from abuse.  I had the pedal floored and the welder cranked up trying to weld some one inch alum plate to a 1" alum round.  I was exceeding the duty cycle of the welder and the torch and shouldn't have been doing that in the first place, but I did get the weld completed.  I should have just grabbed the spoolgun, but I wanted it purdy.  It was a breather mount for my car, nothing structural.
Reply:just got a lincoln precision 225 tig runner...$1996.00 complete shipped to my door brand new

Reply:Well essentially the same other than the extra 50 amps output correct?
Reply:As far as I know.
