I'm thinking about moving out west. How are things looking in Utah?
Reply:I can't speak from a welding perspective, but Wyoming, Utah, the Dakotas, and other states around here have the lowest unemployment in the nation (around 5%).....
Reply:Southern Utah is beautiful, if you like the red sandstone desert scenery; I do. But it's really HOT down there in the summer. And the population density is low. I suppose there are jobs; but less people may mean less work. Make sure you have something lined up. And if it's in southern Utah, you'd better like HOT. FWIW: I went to Lake Powell for 25 years, on vacation. But we had a lake to jump in. When we went there to ride the Moab jeep roads (off road motorcycles), it was in the spring and fall.
