Reply:C'mon, you need a little milk to make them fluffy!Actually, I used to cook on hot asphalt. I had a SS pot with a lid, fill it with leftover stew or chinese, wrap it in foil to keep it clean, then climb up on the dump trailer and bury it in the hot asphalt. When I got to the job, I had a nice meal cooked at 350*F. Did it all the time."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! If so, what would happen if you tried to sear a steak with a TIG gun? Obviously, any wire feed or stick process would destroy the meat with filler metal, and using an O/A torch would just be boring. Cooking with fire? So done.
Reply:Thats excellent! I have used warm metal to warm my hamburger before.

Reply:We used to get Italian subs with Salami, Ham, Provolone and Mozzarella cheese on them. Wrap them up in double aluminum foil and place them on top of the engine block. By the time we made it to deer camp 119 miles later we had nice hot melted cheese subs to eat.
Reply:Would a real welder leave the steel plate alone and run the beads on the bottom, not having to flip the plate over?

Reply:I set my stick welder on its lowest setting and slid a hot dog on some 6010 and just completed the circuit by touching the tip on the table. The dog cooked nicely!!! No, I didn't eat it.
