So I had an old 1.5" thick round table top laying around, decided to make something of it. Cut it in half, drilled some holes, and welded some support tabs onto the legs for the lower shelf, color is just primer for now until I decide what color to paint it. Only 5 parts, and a sturdy design, I'm very happy. The back legs are 0.75" round tube, and the front leg is 0.5" round tube; both mild steel.
