Reply:My wife's grandfather, whom she was very close to, died several years ago. Recently I was refurbishing a very old plow of his. He was one who did with what he had. He didn't buy much. I found on the plow as well as the cultivator I refurbished that he would put them back together with whatever bolts he had laying around. I replaced them all with grade 8's. I kept all the old bolts thinking I could do something with them for her later. When I saw this thread, I thought that would be perfect. I made two. One for my wife and another for my sister in law. This doesn't even compare to the quality of yours, but I really didn't mean for it to be pretty and clean. I left the bolts exactly as I took them out of the equipment, rusty and all. On top of that, I started welding for the first time just last week, so I'm sure the welds are piss poor also. Anyway, thanks for the idea! I hope you don't mind my copying your idea. Attached Images
