Reply:What do I think?I think 9 sec and 130 MPH is too dang fast for us old guys. But, then again, I'm a little older than you.Don't know if I mentioned it but coming up I had two major vices.  If it moved, I raced it.  If it backtalked, I smacked it.  (and then there was "chasing tail")Guess I got "a little" of that out of my system racing boats from the time I was 6 til I was 19.  I also owned three pretty fast vettes before I went into the army.  Fastest was a 62 that did 117 in 11 flat (not bad in 1964).Had a good friend who owned a BMW dealership in Ludwigsburg, GE.  Every time he'd get a new car we'd have to take it out on Autoban 81 (Between Stuttgart and Heilibran) and see what she'd do.  Fastest was a 6 Series Coupe with about 650 HP under the hood.  Topped out just under 200 MPH.  We used to play with the Porches which used Autoban 81 for their high speed trials.  They had their own closed track at the plant just outside of Ludwigsburg, but used the Autoban for their top end speed runs.I had a 7 Series BMW when I was in Germany.  Hadn't been there long when I'm coming down the Autoban at about 100 MPH in the rain.  Next thing you know you hear this whine, just as a guy on a BWM motorcycle passes you doing about 130 (in the rain).  Crazy is what that is.Guess I'll still take stepping out of the door of an aircraft (on oxygen) at 35,000 ft over doing 130 in 9 seconds.Ride hard but ride safe.  We want you with us for a long time yet.Syncro 250 DX Dynasty 200 DXMM 251 w/30A SG XMT 304 w/714 Feeder & Optima PulserHH187Dialarc 250 AC/DCHypertherm PM 1250Smith, Harris, Victor O/ASmith and Thermco Gas MixersAccess to a full fab shop with CNC Plasma, Water Jet, etc.

Reply:You know, over the weekend, in the distance  I spotted what looked like sort of a  small bike to be on the Interstate.I didn't think that a 450 was big enough for the highway...... but as I caught up, I could see that it was probably at least a 454!Nice, huh?

Replyo the V8 motorcycles automatically turn a corner when you rev them up? That seems like a lot of rotating mass in the wrong orientation.Dynasty200DX w/coolmate1MM210MM VintageESAB miniarc161ltsLincoln AC225Victor O/A, Smith AW1ACutmaster 81IR 2475N7.5FPRage3Jancy USA1019" SBAEAD-200LE

Reply:How about some details on the bike. Engine details , etc... I ride a 122 hp 2006 Electra Glide and in the process of building a 120" Jims twin cam A engine that I'm expecting to hit 150/150. I've been thinking about building a stretched FXR for that engine and hitting the track.
Replyenrep, never mind who was driving, what kind of car is that you're in?  Looks like a nice ride from the driver's seat...
