Been lurking for a while now and thought I would say HI and show you guys my new stick welder. I think I did good on this welder.  It looks pretty clean and the electrode is original and hardly used.  I have been wanting one for a while and found this one on CL for $150The lines are good but I would like to buy some longer ones in the future.  I have not tried it out yet. I live in a old house and all I have is a dryer plug for 220V.I have an old 110V miller flux wire mig welder that I use for light stuff, so I thought one of these would be cool for making tables, or whatever big stuff for friends and family. Reply:You can run that machine on the dryer outlet if you want. You won't hurt anything as long as you don't change the 30 amp breaker. You probably don't need the whole 50 amp input for most things anyways.Here's a thread on building an extension cord so you can use the dryer outlet until you get a new one put in. Reply:I like that machine a lot. That was the one I wanted when I bought the AC225. I used the heck out of that thing!!!I was told that is NOT a tombstone. Because it has squared off edges on the top. I guess those who care, only consider the round topped ones tombstones. But I say it is anyways!Nice score.
