hello all! new to the forum.I could use a little help troubleshooting my powermax 800. has been working fine. was using the machine the other day. powered it up made a couple cuts, was grabbing the next piece to cut ( machine still running) then it powered down. first checked the breaker then measured voltage to unit(237v). opened it up and one of the fuses was blown.replaced the fuse and flipped the power and nothing. fuse is blown again. did a few tests in the manual and the d2 ,d3 diode test failed. It says to replace d2 and d3 diode. Is there something that would cause the diode to fail? thanks for any input

Reply:Yes there are reasons for its failure but it is possible that it is still good and just being read as inop.
