Working on stripping my machine down and I am to the part of removing the distributor and wanted to verify a few things ---just to make sure I get it all back together correctlyI was looking at the flywheel and the service manual and they always talk about lining up the (D\C) mark but I noticed mine has a "T" and not the D\C mark as I have seen on some photos on weldingweb. I can only assume they both mean the same thing? I have not made my way back to the crankshaft gear to see the timing marks on it yet but its fast approaching since I will need to strip it all down to paint it as well.Last edited by pipewelder; 01-23-2019 at 07:16 PM.

duaneb55 ...I will look tonight. If might estimate is correct and that flywheel is around 13.6250 inches I should see it in the first 5 inches.

duaneb55....I finally found the D/C mark. Had to take some carburetor cleaner on a rag and clean a little but it was abut 1.5 inches past the "T" timing mark. As always Duane, I appreciate your knowledge and wisdom. This is the first time I have rebuilt an SA 200 so I am sure I will have plenty more questions -- providing I can't find the answer searching the weldingweb forums first.
