Hi , I am maintenance technician in rather large weld shop, majority of the shop is miller equipment some old some new. I need some guidance because I still have few miller Syncrowave 300 in our shop, the problem recently one of the welder is putting out an arc tig attachment but the welder claims it is not enough current to do the job , I am have tried using a pedal from another welder  which works fine yet when placed on the welder with the problems the welder claims it still isnt putting out enough current it is still striking the arc but not enough, is there more here than just the pedal or points ? Any guidance would be welcome Steve

Reply:I would use a clamp meter to determine if the output is infarct low.  If it puts out it's not the machine.Me!
