Reply:It's an old Lincoln sae 400. Not sure of year unless you get the serial number and code from the machine. Reply:How i aquired this is;My father-n-law had this at a guys house for 5 years that finaly fixed it right before he died.His wife called me to have somebody come get it.I called my father-n-law (who has sence moved out of state) and he said go get it and you can have it.
Reply:That's a good deal if you ask me. Those things have a lot of power I've heard of some producing over 650 amps maxed out. And those old Lincoln dc stick machines have some of the smoothest arc characteristics you'll ever see. Reply:I actually found a manual online and it is identifying the part as a fiber coupling.  here's the link to what I'm looking at:  http://www.lincolnelectric.com/asset...oln3/im125.pdfpage 6 - figure 6 at the top of the image.  - does anyone know where I can locate this?
