Reply:Very nice piece. I have turned one of those till my tongue hung out. In the mountains of N.E. Alabama next to the farm a fellow by the name of Overton had one of these in his Blacksmith Shop. Around 1955 myself and two or three other farm boys would fight over who got to pump the billows at the coke forge or turn the drill press until we just about passed out. Thanks for the post brings back pleasant memories. Richey

Reply:I bought an electrified one of those about 40 years ago. It's slow, but I enjoyed using so much, I added an automatic stop/shutoff, so I could work away from it. Doesn't have any paint on it, yet, but it's on the list.Last edited by Weldordie; 11-28-2013 at 01:50 AM.
