hell to all, '        my problem is with my lincoln eagle 10,000 it was working fine last week now i cant even turn it on.  it just turns over but wont come on at first i thought it was a gas problem.  i notice gas wont come out of carb check lines for blockage none what so ever.if i squirt gas in carb and crank it itll turn momenterally then shuts off.  need help thanks guys
Reply:If it has a Kohler engine it might be a stuck fuel shut off solenoid.Gary
Reply:If you have an electric fuel pump, bypass it with a hose nipple of some sort, The fuel pump in the head should take over. This auxillary fuel pump that lincoln uses has been a constant problem.Once it stops working, it locks off and no more fuel.
Reply:Hey welder doctor thanks alot, removed shut off solenoid and clean the gunk out and sprayed wd-40 in it works like champ.
Reply:wow, its been 4 years since I turned on my welder went to turn it on and then notice my battery got stolen .     So ?  is what size and brand of battery can I use on a Lincoln eagle 10,000

Reply:put battery on now it start only with choke on as soon as I take choke off it quits running .   Got to turn on for like 3 minutes and was welding then it just shut off
Reply:Those are symptoms of varnish in the carburetor from sitting so long. This works good for me.
