Reply:Good job, zapMy guess, is it broke because they were using a winch mounted to the arm. The 2 holes you can see in picture #2 are not in these arms, so someone put them in their to mount the winch. Reply:That looks like a fun job. When I was younger I used to fuel up my speed boat at a little fishing station. There was a giant boat there filling up a monstrous Bertram, I never saw one so big before or after. I tied up behind him and started fueling. He goes to leave by turning the wheel hard to starboard. The back of this Munster hit four pillings with the port side. The guy never even looked back. So we were laughing and joking around. The term was "Jewish Navy" a rich accountant out with his new million dollar yacht for the first time and he almost kills a dozen boaters. We had a lot of Jewish friends so we new it was prejudice (ignorance) and clowning around. But on the way in we see this massive ship up on the marsh. He was fifty feet into the marsh. It is a picture I will take to the grave.We used to put our speed boats up on the marsh fooling around. But we could carry them back for a drink of water, even if we could only move them a foot at a time. HahaUp against the dock a big boat will break a dingy arm or jet ski davit off as if it were made of glass. Like it had zero strength. The guy who hit the fueling dock almost put the guy refueling into the water. It bent the massive pillings like they twigs in the wind.
