Experience not required, No mandatory prerequisite level of skill (although a High School or Vocational welding class would help you a lot), must only be a hard worker and looking to learn.We do a lot of fabrication/repair with some mobile work, plus CNC plasma cutting and the odd bit of machining. A little bit of everything really. Also, you'd be working in/on camera for a number of videos we shoot, just look up the ChuckE2009 YouTube channel to get a feel for what those are like. You wouldnt be required or necessarily expected to speak on camera, only to work around camera(s) during projects done for the channel.Looking for someone to begin work in 1-2 weeks>You don't have to know how to weld (although its a plus if you do)>You'd be cutting metal, fetching tools, doing general labor around the shop plus perhaps some welding as time goes on. Remember, this is officially an "assistant" position, although you would learn a lot>Its a payroll position, we have insurance, this isnt some sketchy third rate cash-under-the-table deal>Generally relaxed work environment (as far as welding shops go)>Those with Machining skills, welding skills, mechanics' skills, a valid CHL/LTC, and/or military background who discharged under favorable conditions move further up in the line, so to speakMust pass a federal criminal background check plus drug test. Reply:If I lived close by I would apply just for the fun of the job.  I would have a good time with it and would be an easy job .  Hope you find someone that can add to your work. The wallMart wages are going to limit the applications though. Actually I would hire a helper for myself if I could find someone at that price that would show up everyday .
