I was using an Evolution circular saw to cut some 14 gauge the other day at a friends shop.  He uses a wax like compound to lubricate the material/cut.  Rub it on the cut line prior to cutting.  Another guy had given it to him to try and he does not actually know what it is. Does anyone else know about this stuff?

Reply:Walter coolcut is another option . metal lubricant, paste stick, would probably be the best description. Coolcut should be in the 10-20$ range, good stuff. If your just going to occasionally use this, just use a bar of soap.
