Reply:There's just so many things wrong with that I don't even know where to start...On top of the loose side rails, it looks like someone either moved the axle, or cut one of the tandems off at some point.What pisses me off is guys like this can go down the road daily and the DOT cops won't even look twice at him. ReplySW,My bet is it was home made and he located the axle himself. and of corse, build with his trusty 110v flux core only welder.If we're lucky he was heading to the dump with that and just leaving the whole trailer there. unfortunately, we're not lucky.There are no problems. Reply:A local trooper was branded "rogue" for pulling over trailers like this. He started a one man crack down on uninspected, unregistered, expired/switched tags etc. Even the local papers were complaining about the crackdown. All of a sudden there was wait to get trailers inspected and lots of shiny new license plates. My friend, towing one of my trailers, was given the once over while fueling at a local gas station. The trooper had followed another trailer into the gas station and was writing a fist full of summonses. He checked for proper safety chains, lights, inspection and said "have a nice day".We like to complain when we see trailers like in the picture on the road, and cry when Troopers crack down on inspections, licenses etc.
