Reply:Ordered one last night...$19.60 to the door. I originally had trouble with the site and about gave up but then was able to get it ordered. Website says on backorder now but was in stock when I ordered. I guess as long as they are willing to backorder it's not going to be a limited quantity offer.I've got a Miller Performance hood but for 20 bucks I couldn't resist. I wonder if it is a mistake at that price or if they actually make money at 12 bucks? If they do, how much do the outfits that charge $300 - $ 500 dollars for an ADF make? I hope it will take my cheater lens and doesn't use wierd sized cover plates. Their site states that if something isn't in stock they will ship the parts of the order that are in-stock and ship the other items later (or not at all) You might be on the hook for double S&H charges if/when the hoods are re-stocked. I started to order some other items also,but thought better of it for that reason.I figured there would be a glitch in this order when I waited 24 hours,but I already have 2 and these guys wanted me to get them one so I ordered a few for them.I thought they had another container full,but they might have just located some more old stock to liquidate and obviously not many...We may get lucky and they might get another container load soon...who knows.BTW--- I think this is the correct cover lens for these hoods http://www.harborfreight.com/welding...ers-95948.html  ,but you might want to measure your lens to make sure.
Reply:Ahhhh, too late!  I tried to order one but HF customer service told me they were sold out and will not be back ordered.   Anyone get a spare they could sell to this noob welder?
Reply:I called in the order when the site was down and was told the same thing. I ordered online and the order is still listed as processing... I hope my buddies get one too,but I got lucky the first time around and got mine then. I should have just ordered a few when I first saw them back online,but I waited to see if they wanted one...24 hours might have been too long to wait

Reply:The story I got from my order.... First it was being "rocessed".... Then it was "Shipped"....Then it was marked "Refunded"  I called to get a correct answer.... Was told they are "Discontinued"  I pressed the matter to see if they might get more... I was told to check back in 2 weeks.,.. Who Knows...I'll check back in 2 weeks...It won't cost me a dime to do that..I got mine the first go round.... I was ordering several for some buddies that had liked mine so I feel sorry for them..

After using this one I'd have bought another one in a heartbeat and paid more money and I'm a cheap SOB.I had one of the plain black HF hoods and I have one of the Blue Flame hoods and this hood far exceeds either one of those hoods for fit,AD speed,and most important clarity of vision. Who knew?
