HF welder power cord relocation

Wonder why the power cord on some welders are run out the front and not from the back of the welder.Just seems logical to run it out the back so as it would not be in the way.You already have the gun cable plus the ground cable running out the front,to me that is enough so I rerouted my power cord so that it could run out the back.Wasn't much to it,just took a step bit and drilled a 3/4" hole plus had to cut a little square hole above the 3/4" hole to hold the cord relief bracket to keep it from spinning around.I have been wanting to do this for some time,finally got around to it.Now all I need to buy is a rubber cap to put in the open hole in the front of the welder.Here is some pics because I like to look at the pics from other people's project's on here too. Reply:Nice! I have been thinking of doing this since my welder arrived on my door step. This may have been the inspiration I needed. Looks simple enough, but is the 1 thing that drives me crazy about this thing. Kudos to you!
