I think I've got the manual back at the shop, but off the top of your head does anyone know the part number for the little 1/4" fuel line on the bottom backside of the carburetor? I know vague right? But if you've ever fooled with one you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. It's a formed hose, bent 180°ish back to a whopalater module it looks like. Bulk roll hose will not bend that tight of a radius without kinking. I'm going to backyard engineer it to get done tonight until I can find the part #."You can't out puke a buzzard"
Reply:Turns out the whopalater module is actually more commonly referred to as the fuel pump. Solved that, but still need a hose. Onan P220G"You can't out puke a buzzard"
Reply:Well, I thought this would be as simple as looking up a part number on the diagram, but I can't seem to find it. I'm about to get desperate and try a spring over a piece of hose to keep it from collapsing or maybe try slipping something inside and putting it in boiling water then cooling it.
Reply:A big loop if nothing else for the interim. TJ @ onanparts.com may be able to help with a PN but I'll see if I can find something in the information I have.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:I can say with 100% certainty that boiling fuel line with a piece of copper tube inserted to hold the form, then placing in the freezer to cool is..........a complete waste of time. "You can't out puke a buzzard"

Reply:You can try to to bend copper tube to shape ,use fuel line between for connectors ,with small hose clamps if needed
Reply:Originally Posted by duaneb55I thought that's what you'd discover but wasn't 110% certain as I've never tried it. Curved hoses are molded/cured that way.
Reply:The P220G is the Subaru EH64, found # 263-68006-B3 which is no longer made. Later serial numbers show number X85-10616-60 . I would get some fuel injection with a larger loop like Duaneb55 suggested. Ordered some parts last month from Bluemoonpartsplus.com, they are from Carrollton, tx 1-877-509-8211. Try calling them see if they cane help you.

Reply:Well you did mention using a spring earlier in the thread. Good to hear from TJ again. MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:Another solution would to put about a 3-4 inch piece of copper tube into the pipe, lube it and slide it where the end is about one inch down both ends of the tube, Then use a tubing cutter to make the gentle bend in the assembled hose and tube. Problem solved probably for ever. No chance of it sucking flat in the corner. A spring would also work but would not hold the shape as well as hollow tubing.
Reply:Stay tuned........

Reply:I gave my extension spring a compression spring conversion. Cut it about 3/4" short on each end of hose, gave it a shot of DW40 and pulled it through with a piece of tie wire. I'm tell in' ya, you ain't lived until you put a spring inside a piece of fuel line. All the kudos to TJ at onanparts.com for this. And good news good news!! I've got enough of my $1.27 spring left over for at least another 5 spares. Plus another one I haven't even stretched yet. "You can't out puke a buzzard"
