I'm working on this tractor, get the flywheel up on the crankshaft. One bolt holding it, then all 6 are in and torqued.Think to myself, "Need to bend the retainer tabs over on the bolts".Guess what happens next!! Wifey comes in, "Says Dinner is ready and the heater you are using will kill you!" I said, "Yeah" and went back to work putting the clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing assembly on. Go in the house to eat and realize that I FORGOT to bend the tabs over on the flywheel bolts!!!! All I can say is good thing I didn't push the engine back into the crankcase because then I would have been really MAD!!

Reply:I was welding today and the wife interrupted me to tell me dinner was ready. Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy with salad. She can interrupt me for that every day, all day!

Reply:She don't get it that the heater is UL certified for in "Home Use".Shop isn't air tight.I don't have a headache today which would be nice because I am at the "Real Job" and would love to make everyones life miserable because I am miserable. As far as pulling the clutch assembly apart again, sure it will be easier the second time around, but I would have liked to have stopped at a "Completion Point".To look forward to the next time as going forward.

Reply:Concentration ! Yep, always doing something that takes longer than expected. Then wife calls for dinner. The project should have been done before that. Now you gotta go eat or she'll get pissed. NOW, you are pissed because you couldn't finish, gotta go eat, then, go back and finish even though you don't want to. Still happens to this day ! That's the way it is.
Reply:When my buddy and I were building his pulling truck, our rule was to mark every fastener with a paint stick when installing it so the other guy knows its been tightened or torqued.
