welder turns on but no power

I have a S.A. 250 with perkins engine and I wanted to know which are the diodes that burn out or maybe a fuse and where are they. I had the same problem once and the guy that fixed it said it was a burnt diode.

Reply:If diode is burn out it will not produce power.  Also if are install backwards no power.Dave

Reply:can you please let me know which diode is the one that he replaced once because i looked for it after he fixed it but couldn’t find where it was. I can fix it myself .
