My boss recently gave me this machine because it hasn't been used in about 10 years. it worked perfect when we stopped using it.the problem is it will put out an arc but will not penetrate the metal. it looks kinda like a pilot arc on a plasma cutter. everything on themachine seems to work. the amperage knob works, post flow works just no penetration with the arc. the foot pedal seems to make no difference. you can push it all the way down it doesnt change. any help would be appreciated.
