Reply:I know there are lots of electronic locks now, but the only keypad one I know much about is the Kaba Simplex 1000 series. It's designed for doors or smaller gates, but the latching mechanism could probably be modified to be a more secure linkage for a larger gate. There are heavier-duty versions too. I have a couple on sheds and find them convenient. They come in a number of versions, some with a key override, and if taken apart, a lost combination can be 'fixed' and then a new one set. |
