Guys, I just picked up a SP140 for my "on the road" machine for small work (I wanted a 110v machine) I am thinking about getting a Magnum 100SG for AL, and I am a bit leery of the plastic housing. This is NOT going to be an 8 hour a day production gun, but rather, out in the field, small repair job setup.Does anyone have experience with the Magnum 100SG? Are there other options for that machine?
Reply:As far as I ever see, All spool guns are plastic case. Reply:Look above the drive see if there is a switch there. if so the welder is already set up for the spoolgun. If not make sure you get the right spoolgun kit. it will come with a switch kit you will need to install. The correct kit number should be in the accessory list for your welder. Stay with small wire. this welder does not have enough power for Larger wire. |
