I'm puzzled. Last time it worked fine. Today on the same programmed settings it won't start an arc.Its intermittent too.I'll try starting an arc right on the groundclamp, and sometimes only HF and other times a full arc, but about 8 times of 10 nothing happens.Sometimes the relay clicks, sometimes no click, no gas.And the relay clicking .... doesn't start HF or the arc.It's only 3 months old, and came with the 'new' NOVA pedal.Here's a pic of the settings. I don't know why it's sideways, it's correct on my computer.
It's on "saved setting #2" that welded that aluminum in the pic (last time I used it).

Reply:As other already suggested (in the other post in General) I would contact me manufacturer (or dealer) right away and see if they can guide you through checking the machine to troubleshoot it.But keep in mind that inverters are just like that. One day they work just fine, next day they don't spark at all. If something goes bad and you have to replace a board, it can get expensive. Let's hope it is something minor!
Reply:Not probably a big issue. You should call us though at 877 755 9353 ext 207 for best support. Check your ac balance setting and tungsten type. Are you using helium? If so how much? Make sur it isnt contaminated. As far as price, if it is in warranty and a failed item it is covered.Also, it may be helpful to remove the resr cover and make sure all main board plugs are plugged in. Cueck point gap for .030 to .045 gap. Trend it on the smaller side. Reply:I called. They said it could be reversed polarity which it was. Somewhere I’d heard to have the torch on on pos for Aluminum but Everlast said torch is negative always for inverter TIG. Did a quick weld on 1/4” Alu (@200A) and all seems well (I think .... )

Reply:Always check the manual. It has pictures to follow even regarding polarity on TIG. I don't know of any TIG welder where you change polarity from DC- to weld AC.
