Has anyone installed a 15' mig gun on a rebel 215 or the 205. I talked to ESAB tech he said it might mess with the smart mig set up because the machine is set up for a 10' gun. He was not sure. He just put it out there. Has anyone had any problems with it.
Reply:He is talking shiit. Keep the lead reasonably straight and you'll have no problems.
Reply:I do as well as other members here use 15 guns all the time. I use a tweco spraymaster 250 with medium duty velocity consumables. I like the set up a lot. I never have issues with the guns duty cycle. The fusion 250 gun is the same gun with a different neck and consumables. I believe the fusion 250 uses the light duty velocity consumables that many people complain about because of clogging when welding upside down. The necks can be swapped out on the 250 guns so fusion/spraymaster is basically the same. Buy which ever one is cheaper.Lincoln, ESAB, Thermal Dynamics, Victor, Miller, Dewalt, Makita, Kalamzoo. Hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting tools.

Reply:My Rebels have 15' guns on them, no issues that I can tell. They should just come with a 15' from factory if it was up to me.ESAB Rebels 215 and 235, ESAB HELIARC 281i, ESAB ET 301i, Hypertherm 85 and 45XP, Thermal Arc 185, TD 60i, HTP PRO PULSE 300
Reply:+1 on the 15' guns. maybe have a 12' on the hook for any 023 applications if you only have one machine. I keep a seperate unit for 023.Thermal Arc 320SP ( Lorch )Cobra PythonsThermal Arc 300 AC/DC ( Sanrex )ESAB 301i AC/DC ( Lorch )Thermal Arc 161STL ( WTL )Thermal Arc 190S ( Sanrex )Cut Master 82, 42.
