Need help ,welder was running fine and started loosing welding arc, and went down to nothing, Have no power at the outlets and only small sparks on the rod when dragging .Engine seems to run fine. what would your first thought be.
Reply:from that owner's manual possible problems. plus check the 15 amp fuse.1. Generator or exciter brushesmay be loose or missing.2. Exciter may not be operating.3. Field circuit of generator orexciter may be open.4. Exciter may have lost excitation.5. Series field and armature circuitmay be open-circuited. |
