Powermax 45 purchase - what’s the best move here?

So i am going to pull the trigger on the powermax 45 xp but I’m not certain which bundle to go with.I need the CPC port, and will be using it with a Langmuir crossfire that i intend to try and upgrade to have a Z axis and machine torch down the line.At the moment it only has a mount for a hand torch. Ideally I would like to have a torch for hand cutting and another torch for the plasma table. This is making me lean towards this bundle below. But why does it seem too good to be true that it comes with two torches? The 15 degree torch is actually ideal i think because it aims the torch hose up and out of the way. Reply:Fired up my pm85 for the first time in years when i fired the machine torch on my table. I have an htp 380 for hand cutting since 2003 and still kicking. Reply:There is a package price for a 45xp with a machine torch and a 75 degree hand torch. That is the one I would recommend. If you plan to use a hand torch on your Langmuir machine keep in mind that the CPC port will not start / fire a hand torch (the 75 degree and the 15 degree hand torches are fired via hand trigger switch), so to use one of those torches on a machine means you will need to read the wiring diagram in the service manual and hack into the internal machine wiring. The CPC port (pins 3 and 4) will fire a machine torch (no trigger switch, designed for machine cutting).Jim Colt

Reply:I ordered the 75/15 torch kit and I guess I will have to figure it out to make it work for now.The machine torch/hand torch combo is no bargain really...It’s the same price roughly as the hand torch plus the machine torch separately. Maybe $100 cheaper. Reply:The remote pendent is simply an on/off switch for using the Powermax plasma with a machine torch on non-cnc machines such as a track burner or a portable pipe cutting machine. This combination with the hand and machine torches is often used with those types of machines. For your cnc machine....which controls the start and stop of your Powermax there is no need for a remote pendent.  Jim Colt

Reply:Not sure if it comes with the pendant. One website says it does, another says it doesnt. Part number 088123.I picked up the supplies to make my own CPC plug but I can salvage the pendant I guess if it comes with it for parts instead.
