Good source for weldings supplies - Northern IL?

New guy just getting started and I need a good welding supply place near NW DuPage county, Illinios....I live in Carol Stream.Just got a Lincoln 135 plus and need to get practicing....I need gas, hood, gloves, etc., etc.Looking for a place good with beginners.Did some stick and gas welding 20 years ago...but I'm out of practice and this MIG stuff is all new to me.Thanks....BTW nice, helpful forum ya got here.Bob Thieda

Reply:Yup...this is an old thread, but since I finally went to Terrace supply I just wanted to thank Ron for the good tip.   Real good place, real helpful guys....I didn't go up for welding stuff, but I need a Nitrogen cyclinder and regulator for the upcoming drag race season.The boys at Terrace were very helpful.We did talk about welding stuff though and I will be going back soon.Thanks again Ron,Bob T.
