Reply:I like to use scotchbrite belts on my belt sander- for straight grain, that works pretty well, and you can get the scotchbrite in something like 4 different grits.Klingspor sells them for every size belt sander, from teeny dynabrades up to big stationary models.http://www.klingspor.com/There is a company that makes a tool for just this purpose- it is a hand held power tool, kinda like a grinder, but with a big flap wheel mounted on it- they are pretty expensive, and unless you are doing a lot of big high paying jobs, I doubt you can justify the price, but I hear they work the best, especially for stainless.http://www.csunitec.com/sand/surfacefinishing.html
