first welder

HiI'm looking at getting my first welder. My friend has a DUAL MIG WELDER 151 (the one from harbor freight) that he will sell to me for $75 and he has the regulator for gas. Do you think this will be a good first welder or should I save up for a better one. I mostly making part for my jeep. Like bumpers and other stuff. Any input would be greatThanks
Reply:I'd save and get a better one.  HF's migs are almost universally viewed as crap, but for $75, you aint risking much.  Check ebay and see what those are going for.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
