I am a novice welder and most of my experience is with a small MIG machine. I want to buy a TIG unit for general hobby work mainly with aluminum, boat props etc. What is the least expensive way to get a system that will let me TIG weld ? Thanks for the help.
Reply:I wouldnt go for the least expensive unit. You know what they say you get what you pay for. If your going to invest in something like a tig welder i would spend a few extra bucks and get a nice machine like the pt 185. Aaron
