These were given to me for FREE and I took them only because I thought they might be useful for a torch setup but it turns out they are for Inert Gas. And there are different models needed for O/A setups. They appear to be brand new, never used. I know MIG setups use Inert Gas correct? So one of these would be better than whatever came with a lincoln 175 right?
Reply:They are if you are migging or tigging.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.

Reply:Those regs are good quality expensive regs! They are two stage, max delivery of 80 psi, and are straight fit up to a CGA-580 cylinder (helium, argon, & nitrogen).Check the Superior & Western websites, they make various adapters for these CGA fitting 580 to adapt to different other gases, but, not all gases for safety reasons.
Reply:Dont listen to those guys............... Those regulators are JUNK!!!!! Send them to me, and I'll properly dispose of them for you. Where do I have UPS pick them up??????? We need to protect Freedom of Speech, otherwise, how would we know who the A-holes (like me) are.
Reply:I got 2 more for free Its nice knowing scientist lol The other 2 I got are:1.) Victor SR-253C - Carbon Dioxide2.) Harris 25-500 R-580 - Inert GasI'm thinking of selling them all real cheap except one. Theres no need for me to keep them all and I can put that money to help compensate the 660 bucks I spent on the mig.
Reply:You probably have a couple or three hundred dollars worth of gauges in that haul.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
Reply:So Ruben where is your location? If yor going to sell them I'd like to see them first and I'd be very interested in the C02 units.Dave
Reply:I'm in Texas, way down south close to Brownsville. About 45 min away. I first need to see what I can actually use before I see what I can sell. I eventually want to get a cutting torch setup but need to know which 2 I need and if I even have the correct type. Only one of them actually says CO2 on it. The other 3 are Inert Gas.
Reply:I'm interested in one of the inert gas ones. Owner of Welding Wiki,The free wiki based resource for weldor's around the world.http://www.weldingwiki.comWe have cookies!

Reply:Stumpster, .......... A little suggestion to pass on. If it was me, I'd keep 2 of each because sooner or later one is going to break down, due to an accident or someone else's neglect and a spare is always good to have around. Since you got 'em free, you're not out any money, and bad things sometimes happen at the worst moments. Maybe that's why I have so many tools. When I buy a set of wrenches I usually buy 2 sets, just to have a back up, in case something happens. Just a thought.
