Does anyone have access to a book scanner? I have a book I want to scan. This book is real SPENDY (nearly 300 buks) so I would rather keep it clean and work of coppies of scanned pages. Pages will be used in my shop where I'm welding, wrenching, fabing etc. together an expedition camper. Thanx in advance!Last edited by coachgeo; 06-15-2006 at 10:16 AM.

Reply:True, it may be easier to buy it yourself as scanners are inexpensive enough. The cost to ship the book to someone else and then possibly waiting on them to scan the entire book may be lengthy.John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:I have a flat bed scanner. Flat bed is a different animal from a book scanner. Book scanners are designed to work with the curve of the pages at the center of the book. It makes sure the final image is correct and does not damage the book.
Reply:why not try and find it in ebook form that way you could just print it or print the main sections you need just a thought Creative metal Creative metal Facebook
