I'm trying to find a little welder for some small bodywork on a 1970 car.  Nothing much, just a few welds were there are holes and stuff like that.I found an 80 amp welder forsale for $50... Unsure of anything else.  Do you think this will do what I'm needing it to do?Thanks!
Reply:Body work almost always requires a wirefeed welder (gmaw)...  Is that welder a wire feed?  Im sure because I said "almost always", someone will correct me.If that welder IS wirefeed... can it run shielding gas?...  If so, then yes, it should work like a charm.  If not, some backyard engineering will be required to adapt gas to it.A little more Information is required to get a real accurate answer to your question, but we're heading in the right direction.
