hi, any you guys tried this type ??? the beesey angle clamphttp://www.amazon.com/Bessey-WSM-12-...2?ie=UTF8&s=hi
Reply:Not tryed this clamp but most of my clamps are Bessey there great!!
Reply:I just purchased that model last week. It is awesome. If you can afford the wsm-12 as opposed to its smaller brother I would recommend it highly. It weighs about 18lbs and I love that you can clamp different sized pieces together. I use it for 2 and 3.5 square tubing and it is perfect. You just can't go wrong with it...no way.
Reply:I have had one of these for years, and I love it.I also have some of the Grizzly version- they are really crummy compared to the real Bessey. Course, they cost about a third of what the real one costs. They dont have good threads, and dont open and close smoothly.I have 4 of the Grizzlys, for making big gate frames, where you want to clamp up all 4 corners at once. But any time you can get away with just one, I use the Bessey.Grizzly clamp- 52 bucks. versus 125 to 150 for the Bessey, depending on where you buy it.http://www.grizzly.com/products/g8029Last edited by Ries; 10-29-2006 at 05:55 PM.

Reply:You could probably weld up one from reinforced angle iron and a few other items for less than $40. John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com |
