A friend has recently asked me to fabricate some doors for his fireplace in his new home. I have been welding for only a short time and am looking for any technical advice I can find. Anything I should focus on during the design process? Am I in over my head? Thanks for any replyBen
Reply:Well if you know what your doing and how to fabricate and come up with a design then this shouldnt be to hard. i just made 4sets for a house we are working on at work. just make sure all of your mesaurements are right and then go to work
Reply:Here are a couple I made a while back. Maybe you can spark an idea or two from them. Attached Images
Reply:question on these doors. i need to replace mine thanks to a mastiff i was dog sitting. he saw his reflection in the glass and pounced. that big mutt broke the glass and the brass doors. would some polished stainless work, or would it blue with the heat."Retreat hell, were just fighting in the other direction"Miller Trailblazer 302, Extreme 12 VS, Dimension 400, Spectrum 375, HF 251D-1, Milermatic 251 w/ spoolgun Hypertherm 1000Lincoln sp 1702000 F-450 to haul it
