Reply:For as bad as the pics are they do tell the story..Cast Aluminum..TIG with 5356 is the only way to go...After you take the whole thing apart and clean the crap out of it it may have a chance..Good luck..Or you could find a new one on e-bay for about the same $$$ with less aggrivation...The choice is yours..Have fun!Even I would opt for the replacement.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:ok, thanks, I guess I'll take it to my vocational school and have them weld it, cause used ones, ifn we can find them, cost about 600, and new ones are 1100, so i think i'll just tear it apart, and try and TIG it, at this stage, it probably won't hurt it ThanksJohnny
Reply:Well like you say you have nothing to loose..But it has to be apart and clean...Thers really no other way.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home. |
