What type of material would I use to build sliders for my truck, assuming I want to use square tubing and NOT round.

Reply:Sorry rock sliders they mount to the frame under the rockers. I think I'll keep these type of Q's to the 4x4 related sites. But if anybody knows.. specifically I want to know what wall thickness to get.
Reply:Use the .090 .125 range wall tubing..Go Chromoly if the $$$ is not a concern.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:I'd go for .125 2x4, or on a fullsize rig .25 2x4.Bruce Nothing like setting yourself on fire, to warm you up on a cold day.A craftsman is someone that does a better job than anyone else thinks is necessary.
