I have been asked to make a post hole auger fro a friend. Making the segment is no problem but when I made them in the past there was a shop nearby that hydraulically stretched them out. Does anyone have any idea how I can SAFELY use our 100 ton press without the thing flying off under pressure? I know I could buy them but I was going to use the making as a project for my apprentices as we make and scrap thousands of dollars worth of steel each year so to make something useful that is going to be kept will make a nice change.Clive
