I'm not new to welding. I've been arc welding for many years. MIG welding for at least ten. I've never paid that much attention to TIG welding that much because I basically couldn't afford a good machine, and my other methods have sufficed thus far.I swung a deal and have a Miller Syncrowave 200 Runner in my not too distant future. I downloaded the owner's manual. Looks a lot more intense than 6013's at 130 amps on my Hobart.I think I may be a little intimidated.Does anyone mind if I ask stupid questions?
Reply:Not at all. One thing to remember: If you can't Tig it, Stick it. JohnSMAW,GMAW,FCAW,GTAW,SAW,PAC/PAW/OFCand Shielding Gases. There all here. :

Reply:I would recomend staying away from ac and all that for a while if is a pain when you are first learning. You should try using the pulser though I found it easyer when I was Learning and now that I do it for a living I never use mine without the pulser. It just makes a nicer weld and helps control the HAZ. Steel Thunder Welding LLC.
