How may psi ???

Hey,i just went to a different gas supplier to exchange my 125cu argon cylinder .My gage shows 1400 psi  that seems short of what i usually get what should i have? thanks fellasVictor SuperRanger O/A                                         Solar migLincoln Powermig 140Southbend 9in lathe350# kohlswa anvilMiller Maxstar 150 stl etc....
Reply:Look on the cylinder for Icc 1800, 2015, 2265 or 2400.  Answer that and I can tell you how much pressure should be in the cylinder.    John G.SMAW,GMAW,FCAW,GTAW,SAW,PAC/PAW/OFCand Shielding Gases.  There all here. :

Reply:1,400 does sound low. Here in No. Cal. my argon cylinders will typically read right at 2,000 psi when full from the LWS. You might want to query your dealer and maybe exchange that cylinder if it is not full......Miller Millermatic 252Miller Syncrowave 200Liincoln AC-DC 225Victor O-A Set

Reply:where did you get your cyclinder at, a major lws or a mom and pop lws?i bought some c25 cyclinders from a mom and pop lws, returned the tank for a swap out (left it early in the morning before they opened and picked it up later that afternoon), when i got the tank back it was the very one that i took in, no biggy until i got home and hooked the regulator to it and only had 1500 psi in it, should have been 2500 psi. come to find out they were refilling the tanks themselves from a larger tank and could not completely fill the smaller tanks. they gave me some credit and an explanation that that was not one of their tanks, luckily i had the receipt.G3miller... 225g, s32p, 250x, 304, 12vs, MSW41     victor o/a thermal dynamics cutmaster 50 lenco panel spotter        hobart hf-boxG3 Farms.....raising cattle, hay, kids and hell, ...oh yeah I'm a fire sprinkler contractor by trade.
