I am going to be replacing the muffler on my little Case tractor. The mufflers are aluminiumized steel. Is the aluminum a coating or thoughout the steel?? DanMy instructor said someone will catch on fire during class...He wasn't joking!!
Reply:Just a coating, it will come off with a wire wheel. Remove it before welding, it will be easier and look better.DavidReal world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
