exhaust cut out

Has anyone evr welded a cast iron exhaust cut-out made by Mr Gasket? Looking for the correct process. Heres a pic Attached Images

Reply:True Captin Willy I have put these on 3 cars for friends back in the states and only one lasted more than a month and it leaked and would not pass inspection. They are aperintly not allowed in Missouri. I used 1/8" 6011. It welded just fine and did not crack but the valve would stick. The guy that had the one that lasted would work the valve 2 or 3 times everytime he started the car but after 3 or 4 months it leaked bad. Steel Thunder Welding LLC.
