Hey guy's. I have a problem. I hooked my power up to my welder yesterday (MM252) And fed the wire into the gun like they sed. After a minute I looked and the welder was off and had no power. So I went down in the basement and one of the breakers were tripped. So I reset it, and came up and powered it back up, and nothing. No read-out no nothing. What do I do?What do you think could be wrong? Please help guy'sESAB Tigmaster 252 Miller MillerMatic 252 migLots and Lots of toolsNot much but a startWoohooo I just got a bandsaw given to me. Reply:You need a meter. Verify voltage at the receptacle. Without a meter you're throwing darts blind folded.

Reply:That's what you need. A 122 reading on each leg is a good reading. Make sure it's balanced and rock solid. Watch for wandering numbers. I imagine you're fine there tho. You're welder most likely has it's own breaker. A small white button on the back??? Check that. Something is fishy if that tripped. Were you running it when the breaker tripped or was it setting there in the on or off swtich position??
Reply:No I wasn't running it. It was setting there just on. I hope I didn't just torch my brand new welder. ESAB Tigmaster 252 Miller MillerMatic 252 migLots and Lots of toolsNot much but a startWoohooo I just got a bandsaw given to me. So bandsaw nowNow a free hydraulic press
Reply:Depending on your comfort level, you can pop the cover and check the input on the inside. Switch in the off position.

Reply:I would check the reset on the machine as well......if there is a problem with it Miller will take care of you as long as you didn't do something to it....you will have a hard time finding a repair place open today....even if you did they probably can't do anything until Monday with it....I would call customer service first as it could be something you can take care of.Mike
Reply:YESSSSS ! ! ! I got it. I had a loose connection at the breaker. So it was showing the right volts, but when there was a draw on it, it wouldn't work right.
