i possibly have a job making some small pans and a rack. the material is inconel 601. i've never welded this before and was hoping for any input or help. thanks ps th thickness will be 1/16.
Reply:It should be pretty easy simular to welding stainless but has better puddle characteristics and controllability. It's somewhat hard to see but should weld up fine. I never welded 601 before but 625 and 718 I have. I'm just assuming since it's 600 series it would be simular to what I've welded in the past. You probably can use 625 wire for this.
