Invertec V300 pro Wire feeder

1st post here and relatively new to welding/self taught, although i have been viewing for several months now. I have an 225 AC Tombstone, but recently picked up an Invertec V300 Pro at a garage sale for $100 bucks, however it is only the power source, i was wondering what my options are as far as a wire feeder, the less expensive the better, i dont even fully know what this machine is capable of, so any information would help? thanks and glad to see a website helping fellow noobs out...
Reply:http://www.mylincolnelectric.com/Cat...ualsearch.aspxThe link above is to the operator's manual index for Lincoln Electric.  Locate the Code # off of the manufacturer's tag, match it up in the index, and you can read the operator's manual for your specific machine.  If you just type in Invertec V300 Pro, you get a long list, and without your code#, you will not get the correct manual.Lincoln will tell you what it recommends that you use for accessories with this unit.  I would imagine that it will readily accept the LN-25 as just about anything does, but I have not used this machine.Pictures I brought up of it reminds me of a Thermadyne unit, just a different colour.Anyways, there you go.Later,Jason

Reply:good price on the unit, Go with a ln-25, or see if you can hook up a Powerfeed 25M to it, I don't remember. If it is to hard to find the feeder, feel free to place a post in the sale section here.
Reply:How come I never get that lucky? Oh , I did get an ln-25 for 50 bucks, heheh, and 1000 later it is a great feeder. Should last me to retirement anyway.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
